[UK MORTGAGE REPOSSESSIONS] took another turn for the worse in Q3, increasing to 11,300 from 10,000 in Q2 according to figures released this am by CML. Mortgage arrears also increased, with figures at the end of Sept showing households in arrears by at least 3 months up at 1.44% against 1.33% at the end of Q2. These arrears figures are lower than numbers released this week by Northern Rock's [GRANITE] mortgage-backed programme which showed 90-day plus arrears now surpassing 2%.
